Welcome to Arriondo Creative! I'm Amanda. My artistic work revolves around my life as an obsessive gardener, wife, dog mom, and spastic creative in the glorious Pacific Northwest. My work has always carried the same fingerprints: an obsession with detail, color, and the slow process of building something intricate by hand. I tend to immerse myself in a medium, learning its intricacies and exploring how far I can push precision, color, and technique. Over the years, that's meant colored pencil, ink, fiber art, and now clay.​

Arriondo Creative is less about a single medium and more about whatever is captivating my creative brain at the moment. I love the process of becoming absorbed in a craft—experimenting, refining, and slowly developing a style that feels unmistakably my own. The materials may change, but the impulse is always the same: make something intricate, push the technique, and see just how far I can take it.

Made of Both

My Uruguayan-American heritage is an important part of both my identity and my work. Arriondo is my Uruguayan family name, and the Sol de Mayo in my logo is there with intention—a proud reflection of the cultures and people that shaped me. The artistic side of me has deep roots in Uruguay, passed down through my abuela and my dad, while my obsessive attention to detail is inherited from my mom’s side of the family. Those two cultural influences coalesced into my unique style: bright color, intricate patterns, and a (slightly unhealthy) insistence on getting every tiny detail just right.
